CommonInsure is part of the Commonwealth Bank Group and was
first introduced in 1999. The original company Colonial
Mutual Life Assurance was formed in 1873, bought out by Colonial in
2000 who rebranded themselves as CommonInsure in 2002.
ING
ING has been operating in Australia for over 120 years. The ING
group servers more then 85 million customers in 50 countries.
In September of 2009 ANZ gained a full control of ING
Australia by acquiring a 51% holding. ANZ are due to rebrand
ING later in 2010.
Macquarie
Macquarie Bank launched in 1985 and offers several life

Tower Australia
Tower Australia has over 1 million customers and was listed on
the Australian Stock Exchange in 2007. Tower's origins
stretch back to its incorporation in New Zealand in 1869.
Zurich Australia
Zurich's lineage goes back to 1920 when the Commonwealth General
Aussrance Corporation Ltd was incorporated in NSW. Zurich
Australia is owned by the Zurich Financial Services Group based in
Switzerland. This parent company operates in over 170
